Liz Pritchard --
Sentinel Liz Pritchard is one of Saber Light Knights Academy’s most accomplished competitors and instructors, combining technical precision, adaptability, and years of dedicated training into a formidable fighting style.
Liz began her saber journey training under SLK founder Courtney Monroe, developing a strong foundation in Forms I, II, III, and V. She later continued her training under Headmaster Ryan “Smokey” McKenna, expanding her arsenal through the use of the pike and developing the versatility that has become a hallmark of her fighting.
A consistent presence at major competitions, Liz has established herself among the elite women in competitive saber combat. In 2025, she captured the Saber Light Knights Invitational Championship, adding another major victory to her competitive record.
Her biggest achievement came at TSL X in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Liz represented Saber Light Knights on the world stage. Fighting her way through the Women’s Division, she advanced to the championship match against Minnesota’s Juliana Alex and emerged victorious to become the 2026 TSL Women’s World Champion.
