Praxeum brings together instructors, fighters, schools, and organizations from across the United States for one of the most demanding and diverse LED combat weekends of the year.
Whether you are an experienced tournament fighter, instructor, developing competitor, or new to organized LED combat, Praxeum offers opportunities to train, compete, learn, and connect.

The Symposium
Instruction begins Thursday afternoon, November 5, and continues throughout the weekend.
Classes will be led by experienced instructors from around the United States and will cover a wide range of topics, including:
- Combat technique
- Footwork and movement
- Tactical development
- Weapon application
- Tournament strategy
- Competitive adaptation
- Sparring concepts
- Advanced fighter development
Tournament Schedule
Thursday, November 5th: Kata & Team Choreography
Showcase technical precision, presentation, creativity, and coordinated weapon work.
Steel Saber Tournament
Test your skills in a dedicated steel saber competition.
Classes begin Thursday afternoon alongside opening-day events.
Friday, November 6
SLK Continuous Mixed — Double EliminationA high-action tournament fought under the Saber Light Knights Continuous Mixed Ruleset.
Competitors will be challenged to adapt their strategy, weapon selection, movement, and endurance throughout a double-elimination bracket.
Foam Tournament Hosted by Aiken Saber Academy
An afternoon tournament featuring foam weapons and fast-paced competition.
Additional symposium classes will continue throughout the day.
Saturday, November 7
Ranked Saber Legion Standard Tournament with Redemption
Official rankings are on the line in a competitive Standard tournament fought under The Saber Legion ruleset.
A Redemption bracket provides additional competition opportunities following the primary tournament.
Saber Light Knights Continuous — StandardClassic SLK continuous combat emphasizing:
Pressure. Endurance. Adaptability. Control.
Competitors will be pushed through one of Praxeum's signature high-intensity formats.
Saturday Catered BBQ LunchTake a break between competition and classes with an all-you-can-eat catered BBQ lunch.
Menu includes:
- BBQ pork
- BBQ chicken
- Sides
- Gluten-free options available
Sunday, November 8 Youth Foam Point DivisionsYouth competitors take the floor under the SLK Standard Point Ruleset using foam weapons.
A great opportunity for developing fighters to experience organized competition in a youth-focused environment.
Standard Light Speed TournamentSpeed, timing, accuracy, and fast decision-making take center stage in Standard Light Speed competition.
SLK Tornado TournamentFinish the weekend with one of Saber Light Knights' fastest and most dynamic competition formats.
Expect pressure, movement, rapid exchanges, and nonstop action.
Additional Classes & Free SparringPraxeum continues beyond the tournament brackets.
Sunday will also feature additional instruction, open training opportunities, and free sparring with fighters from participating schools and organizations
Praxeum is about more than individual championships.
Each participating school or organization may select up to four fighters to represent their team in the race for the Praxeum Cup.
Performance throughout the weekend contributes toward determining which academy or organization stands above the rest.
